Hello Friends -
I'll soon be heading back to Bolivia for 12 days on an incredible CAST & BLAST adventure with our Bolivian partner Mario Aguirre. We'll start with a few days in the friendly and vibrant city of Santa Cruz before heading to the northern jungles in the state of Beni. There, we'll be fishing for Peacock Bass, Piranha, monster catfish and more. This part of Bolivia is home to one of South America's most pristine and unspoiled eco systems. While fishing we'll be sharing our space with wild Jaguars, Capybaras, Crocs, countless species of birds and extremely rare plant life. This is more than a great Peacock Bass fishing trip...this is a true wilderness adventure!
After a few days in the jungle, we'll take a quick charter flight down south for three days of ultra high volume dove shooting. I've been hunting in Bolivia before, but never in this exact area. I'm looking forward to putting my new hunting armor to the test...let's see if it saves my shoulder on this trip!
Of course, along the way, I'll be critiquing everything from the fishing to the hunting to the food to the wine...you name it. Look for my full report coming in October. Until then, Happy Hunting and Tight Lines!
